Favorite Programs

I use Windows XP Professional SP3 on my IBM Thinkpad T60p 2623-D8U (Intel T2500 2GHz | 3GB RAM | Corsair CSSD-F60GB2-A | SXGA+). This particular unit has a problem overheating, even with heatsink modifications. It is one of the last non-Lenovo branded Thinkpads.

I recently purchased an additional T60p 2007-8HU (Intel T7600 2.33 GHz | 2 GB RAM | Intel SSDSA2CW080G3 | SXGA+). It's a nice machine so far, oh, except for it BSODs a lot due to shoddy ATI drivers.

I also have a Thinkpad X41 2528-EMU (Intel Pentium M 1.6 GHz | 2 GB RAM | Mach Xtreme MXSSD1MNANO-30G | XGA ) with a 1.8" PATA SSD that starts up from sleep mode in about 5 seconds. I had to install this custom BIOS in order to avoid the Error 2010 warning at boot.

I rooted my Kindle Fire and put CyanogenMod 7 on it, to great effect.

I lease a VPS (Virtual Private Server) from Linode. My server software is Slackware 12.2. Nowadays I would put Debian.

My router is a Linksys WRT54G running Tomato v1.07.

Install wget and pscp to your PATH (C:/WINDOWS) before running any scripts.
