How To Make A Link

A link, also known as a hyperlink, is a connection from one web resource to another. It takes the following syntax:

<a href="http://example.com">Example</a>

The a element is an anchor, demarking the beginning and end points of the link.
The href element, enclosed in quotation marks, is the destination of the link. It contains a properly formatted URI (Uniform Resource Identifier).
The text of the link sits in between the start and end anchor tags.
